About the Presenter of this Video

Richard Kaller founded CCN in 1996 with a goal to give support back to the contracting industry that earned him great success. Richard Kaller started as a roofing contractor in 1964, installing all types of roofing on small residential projects, large commercial roofing projects and even historical projects featuring slate and copper restoration. During his thirty years in the roofing business, Richard acquired five successful roofing companies in the Philadelphia area averaging 1,000 roofing related contracts per year. Richard Kaller had tremendous experience with the problems and challenges that contractors experience in their residential and commercial businesses.

Mr. Kaller was also a very successful professional contractor trainer for the last seventeen years of his career. He was a charismatic a speaker at many local and national trade conventions and was known for his generous nature and willingness to help other contractors. Richard was a former Director of the NRCA where he served as Chair for the Steep Roofing Committee of the NRCA, which is responsible for codes and specifications affecting the residential market.

Mr. Kaller shared the insights learned about the contracting business for the benefit of other contractors through seminars and training materials. His contractor development seminars have been sponsored by major building material manufacturers, distributors, and trade associations across the USA and Canada.

Richard Kaller shared his “best practices” with contractors all across the country, who then shared theirs, improving  contracting businesses and positively changing the lives of everyone involved. Richard passed away in April of 2006. He has been missed by those who knew and benefited from him, and by those who never got the chance.
